From Asia to Africa, Europe and the Americas, INTO Giving stands up for girls' education and refugee schoolchildren in crisis. The charity raises funds and provides grants supporting girls’ education and refugee schoolchildren and a host of humanitarian causes worldwide. • Developed and maintained the charity’s fundraising / communications strategy • Implemented and championed new income streams (including No 1 & No 2 streams)• Managed INTO Giving’s international grants programme• Set and maintained charity’s budget and responsible for completing UK and US annual returns • Orchestrated the expansion of the charity’s projects and implemented a special focus on developing world girls’ education and refugee schoolchildren• Expanded the charity’s remit from focussing solely on education, to supporting a range of humanitarian and community causes and a promotional campaign to support it• Expanded and diversified board of trustees; prepared all board papers and records; engaged trustees and staff to achieve the charity’s aims and to support business development• Oversaw redevelopment of the charity’s website and revamp of the charity’s logo• Wrote volunteering policy and procedure, and promoted volunteering• Team recruitment, support and management• Created and managed an international student internship programme

Since coming on board midway through the 2011/12 financial year, I led the YoungMinds fundraising team to grow its income from under £100,000 p.a., to over £500,000, whilst also securing major development grants for the charity. I wrote and implemented the fundraising strategy, secured donations from grant-making trusts, statutory agencies and other organisations, served as a member of the Senior Management Team, and worked closely with the Board of Trustees to develop and review the strategic direction of the organisation.2015/16 (April - Sept: 7 months)£455,000 (67%) of target raised in seven months, plus additional £95,000 toward a restricted campaign.2014/15£522,000 (153% of fundraising target) raised; strategic £120,000/3year trust grant secured in addition to fundraising target; and a further £205,000 toward a restricted fundraising campaign.
