Chris joined Professional Planning Group as a Financial Advisor in 2002. He works directly with clients to establish and implement portfolio strategies and focuses on technology initiatives. Chris is co-chair of the Investment Committee, Associate Compliance Officer and a member of the Executive Committee. Prior to joining Professional Planning Group, Chris held numerous positions in research, investment sales and marketing, and product management at The Boston Company, a global asset management firm and its affiliate, Funds Distributor, Inc., until joining former associate company, Mellon Private Wealth Management, where he was a vice president and portfolio manager providing investment management and trust services to high-net-worth families, endowments and foundations. In 1990, Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors distinction in economics from Hobart College. He graduated from the New England School of Banking’s trust and estate planning program at Williams College in 1999. Chris also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2000 and is a member of CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society. Chris has been recognized by Raymond James as a Chairman’s Council* team member since 2010. He holds the Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses and is a Raymond James Registered Principal. Chris has also been a contributor to TheStreet.com and has been quoted in The Journal Report; a monthly section of The Wall Street Journal, on mutual fund investing. Active in community organizations, Chris most recently served on the Board of Trustees and was a member / chair of the Finance and Investment Committees for the Memorial and Library Association of Westerly. He has also served as a member of the Professional Advisory Group for the South County Hospital. Chris lives in Wakefield, RI with his wife and three sons. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, golf, fishing and spending time with his family.*Membership is based on prior fiscal year production. Re-qualification is required annually.
