Launched Mutual of Omaha’s branded content program, an online initiative that was part of an overall re-branding campaign. Oversaw all editorial and creative development; produced a mix of feature stories, news, videos and social content. Also wrote and helped direct editorial for Chevrolet New Roads, a digital and print lifestyle magazine distributed.

Creative lead in Ford's Content Studio, a digital-first, cross-discipline group focused on bringing Ford brand stories to deficit audiences. Forged partnerships with numerous media/publishing companies to create branded content that told Ford’s most important brand and product stories across all channels.

Led an 8-person team of writers and designers. Working closely with GTB account and media teams, collaborated with Ford Marketing to help Ford become one of the first major advertisers to partner with online media and publishing sites to co-create branded content.

Wrote copy in support of every Ford vehicle for digital launch and brand campaigns.

Provided strategic and tactical communications support for $11 billion global auto supplier, including writing executive speeches and video scripts, supporting quarterly earnings calls, crafting press releases and managing media relations. Also wrote and produced the company’s Annual Report, overseeing an internal team as well as vendors, managing all.

Broke the international story that White Stripes band members Jack and Meg White were not siblings as purported, but rather former husband and wife. Notable stories and profiles included Elmore Leonard, Michael Stipe of R.E.M., Mitch Albom, Terry McMillan, Richard Ford and Rodriguez (“Searching for Sugar Man”). Wrote “Night Spots,” a semi-weekly feature.
