As a Sales Trader working for one of the world's leading providers of Contracts for Difference (CFDs), Spread Betting and Forex trading. My role mostly includes:- Executing trades for retail and institutional clients in Equities, Foreign Exchange, Cryptocurrencies, Options, Commodities, Bonds and Indices. CF30 registered.- Assisting clients in understanding our risk parameters by discussing how market movements could have a corresponding financial impact on their accounts, in terms of their positions being liquidated to control risk.- Enhancing the Share Dealing arm of the business, by providing insight and being involved with projects to increase the offering and ensure that it is market leading.

Working at TD Direct Investing provided invaluable experience working for one of the world's largest banks and a first point of contact for clients to assist them in managing their account. This involved assisting them in queries ranging from portfolio management, dividend information and corporate actions to placing orders for them on the LSE and across International Exchanges.On a day to day basis I discussed with clients the range of investment products available to them ranging from SIPPs, ISAs to standard share dealing accounts. I executed instructions involving any voting or corporate actions, and trades for clients in various investment products (Bonds/Gilts/Funds/Shares/ETFs) as well as performing a technical support function for customer services. In addition to this I also composed emails in response to complaints and inquiries.
