Cedars Open Studios is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting neighborhood artists, their initiatives, and promoting the vibrant arts culture of the Cedars community in Dallas, TX.The organization hosts The Cedars Open Studios Tour, the largest artists tour in Dallas, every November and more intimate Cedars Sessions events throughout the year.

Promoting the exchange of four wheels for two, and traveling the Cedars at a more leisurely pace to see what this part of South Dallas has to offer.

Cedars Open Studios is an all volunteer organization that produces multiple events in The Cedars neighborhood of South Dallas, including Cedars Sessions and the The Cedars Open Studios Tour. The tour showcases roughly 100 resident artists in sixty locations throughout the neighborhood. We work with our sponsors, ranging from large property management companies to sole proprietors, to market these events and bring new attendees to the area, fostering economic development.

Upstart Productions was formed to usher in the next generation of local artists by providing them with the opportunity to showcase their talents and develop their craft on and off stage. We are dedicated to the ideal of contributing to the local community by giving these artists an avenue for the production of exceptional contemporary, classical, and original works.
