Patriot Instructor/Writer responsible for researching subject-specific data, including engineering data, design specifications, Software Investigation Reports and Missile Command Continuation Group reports. Performs relevant actions to prepare the data for input to lesson plans, and writes the lesson plans for later instruction. During the development phase, the works with Raytheon engineers and customer representatives to apply appropriate instructional design principles. Responsible for the conduct of the course, including examinations. Provides system-related Patriot instruction to foreign customers. During course conduct, interfaces directly with customer representatives and able to make appropriate scheduling decisions based upon equipment availability, student requirements and other factors. During course preparation, interfaces with engineers and other technical personnel to perform critical training task analysis, and validation of documentation.

Applied a variety of instructional techniques including platform and lecture/conference methods. Demonstrated extensive practical knowledge on the methods and techniques of presenting the subject matter focusing on: emplacement, initialization, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Coordinated schedules, developed and edited lesson plans and made instructor assignments. Cross-trained instructors and ensured proficiency, certifying instructors in subject areas taught. Used multiple training approaches within the Program of Instruction (POI) structure. Reinforced training using equipment, simulators, and computers ensuring students maintained an academic average of at least 80%. Performed duties as both a Patriot System Technician and Tactician. Coordinated the activities of maintenance equipment assets to ensure Unit equipment was mission capable. Trained subordinates in the proper operation and maintenance of the Patriot equipment. Responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance, and modification of Patriot Missile equipment worth over $60 million dollars.Served as Tactical Control Officer for Patriot Unit where he was responsible for planning and executing of Patriot air defense operations and training for 4 crews. Advised Commander on the deployment, emplacement,system capabilities, maintenance techniques, troubleshooting and reporting procedures.
