I work as a scrum master at Kingfisher plc. I have been using Agile methodologies as well as SAFe practices and am now certified as a leader of SAFe. I am responsible for my scrum team I work with directly as well as ensuring our business values and deliverable increments are in line with those of the rest of the business and the other scrum teams working around us.

Some of the responsibilities I had included guiding and organising up to three teams on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values.I would coach the teams towards using a self-organisation approach to completing sprints and delivering valuable features.I continually assessed the Scrum Maturity of the team and organisation and coached the team to higher levels of maturity at their own pace.Daily tasks included removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment, building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution and assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.I would also help to support the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog.The above was all achieved whilst using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example rather than assigned authority.

Roles and responsibilities include:- Coordinating with team members to determine time frames and key tasks for projects- Monitoring the project from start to finish and regularly reporting back to the Managing Director about progress and highlighting any issues- Ensuring that the project is completed as per the company and industry guidelines- Regularly updating clients on the progress of the project and overcoming any issues- Creating project spaces to track project tasks and progress using relevant software packages- Organising project sprints and Gantt charts to track specific project tasks and ensure due dates are met. - Regularly updating Timeframe roadmaps and project plans to ensure projects remain on target- Testing Game releases pre and post release to ensure there are no major bugs or flaws in the game- Using multiple devices to obtain a broad range of feedback making the testing results more reliable- Converting testing results into tickets/ issues for the development team to view the issue and enable them to find the best fix - Testing a variety of software updates, including new games, promotions, system updates, specific bug fixes and confirming existing bugs.
