My work as an editor at the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) entails fact-checking, researching, and revising articles in order to decide which material is most appealing to KBS’ international audience. I edit staff writers' work and create my own segment presenting the next day’s news stories to an audience of thousands.

My position as a research intern entails assisting faculty with research related to the promotion of democracy and market economics in East Asia. Specifically, I monitor news and information, conduct literature reviews, and analyze data related to North Korean security affairs. I have contributed to published articles such as “Re-Declared “Frontal Breakthrough”: North Korea’s Nuclear First Line in 2023 and Its Limitations” among others.

As a Teaching Assistant, I would manage undergraduate students and facilitate discussion revolving around governance in cyberspace while supporting the Professor. Topics covered included the Wannacry ransomware attacks and North Korea’s cyber operations. I employed skills such as communication skills, the ability to work with diverse groups of people, and management.

My position as a writer/validator for Soundworks entailed collaborating with LG Electronics’ engineers to assist in the development of AI programs for smart appliances. Specifically, I would write, edit, and research different audio artifacts for AI programs to analyze. I would also train new employees on proper office protocol in order to ensure the efficiency of all team members.
