• Co-led NE’s strategic response to the East Marine Plan, advising on natural capital approaches and shaping the sustainability appraisal. (SA, SEA, HRA)
• Spearheaded the update of the MoU between NE and MMO, enhancing collaboration for marine nature recovery and sustainable management.
• Supported the development of a strategic review of plan-level cumulative effects assessments within a cross-SNCB steering group.
• Represented NE across multiple SNCBs, contributing expertise to marine planning and spatial prioritisation.
• Authored strategic liaison handling plans with associated stakeholders.

Laamu, Maldives

• Utilised remote camera systems to collect, synthesise, and analyse spatial and temporal data on Mobula alfredi.
• Provided robust scientific guidance to stakeholders within the newly designated LMMA, Hithadhoo Baaneykolhu. (Now ISRA).
• Conducted daily dive surveys of Manta Point
• Conducted additional data collection for various Manta Trust projects, including in-situ ultrasound scans of female M.alfredi and utilising stereo-camera systems to create 3D-models for growth rate investigations.
• Collaborated with Maldives Underwater Initiative (MUI) on diverse projects, such as coral translocation, remote sensing, and GIS workshops, as well as local stakeholder engagement initiatives.

• For my 3rd year of study I undertook an Academic Placement year as part of my Bachelor Degree:
• Completed Aigas Ranger Training Scheme (ARTS), mastering Highland ecology, geology, glaciology, archaeology, and history.
• Guided diverse guests through the Highlands during a 7-month ecotourism season, providing insightful interpretation of the environments visited and conveying the broader ecological context.
• Led hide visits, conducted engaging workshops on species identification, and delivered presentations on the Moray Firth’s Bottlenose Dolphins, enriching guest experiences with specialised knowledge.
• Delivered on-site conservation projects, including Beaver demonstration, Pine Marten, Badger, and Twinflower studies, ensuring progress and impact assessment, contributing to preservation efforts.
