Environmental Quality Supervisor
CurrentMS4 Coordinator directly responsible for 73 MCMs in a Phase II city. I directly supervise two environmental specialists and a senior specialist to accomplish duties that include include monitoring stream quality, conducting public education activities, responding to citizen complaints, inspecting gas wells and automotive related businesses, conducting disease prevention activities, and managing remediation, environmental, and stormwater investigations. Filing reports and various paperwork associated with citations, streams, complaints and various GIS projects are also a significant part of the position.I supervise the Senior Environmental Specialist to ensure the city is in compliance with the Airport and Landfill MSGPs, and all visual monitoring, requisite sampling, and stormwater inspections are completed. I review, manage, and update SPCC plans for all city facilities. I ensure all city facilities are within stormwater compliance. Experienced in emergency spill response and subsequent environmental remediation activities.
