The reviews were a key factor in improved site stability.- Created the Technical Duty Officers team, a key factor in improved site stability and a faster MTTR. The TDOs are highly experienced, senior technologists with a mission to be masters of the Groupon site, and leaders during site crises. - Created incident and availability reporting, and promoted the use of data driven decision-making. Defined new Availability definitions, to allow for more accurate, rigorous reporting.- Teams saved Groupon hundreds of hours for both Prod-Ops and Development by creating automation/tooling that reduced friction, increased efficiency, and improved quality of work.
