Developed Standard Operating Procedures for the redesigned application. • Led implementation and operation of a custom Metadata Repository solution based on the Informatica Metadata Manager product to support Medicare Claims data. Designed virtual data access views of metadata. Major customization of the native Informatica metamodel. Designed and developed custom load procedures. • Designed a custom MicroStrategy/Oracle web application and a data virtualization layer. • Performed technology research of MongoDB, a NOSQL database platform, addressing the feasibility of managing MongoDB metadata. Presented a demonstration of the technology and findings. • Standardized data names for Claims data in the Integrated Data Repository (IDR) warehouse, sourced from National Claims History (NCH) data. • Performed logical data modeling for the Automated Plan Payment System (APPS). • Assessed data models for compliance with CMS standards. • Researched the Common Warehouse Metamodel (CWM) Specification Version 1.0 and the metamodel of the Platinum Repository/MVS in support of metadata repository strategy discussions. • Developed and maintained the NameChecker utility, increasing the productivity of data modelers and developers by 300 – 500%.
