I delivered Cambridge Middle Years English program, IGCSE History and Grade 10 History (American system).I planned and implemented the outcome based curricula that I delivered. I created the entire curriculum that I taught from the bottom up with simple focuses. The main aim for my Grade 10 students and my KS3 English Students was to improve their knowledge and use of the English language. During this post I:- Created a curriculum from scratch for all the classes that I taught.- Researched and produced a report on the educational provision offered, evaluating which curriculum standards to be followed, curriculum frameworks, ways to improve our students’ English and ways in which the school can gain accreditation. I was the only History teacher in the boys section of the school therefore I had a great degree of autonomy in my teaching. I was responsible for the planning and delivery of the History IGCSE program which was successful in covering the content for the students and preparing them for their examinations. I also planned and delivered the KS3 (ages11-13) curriculum in conjunction with the head of department. My key strength in this role came from my organisational skills wherein I had plans in place for the entire curriculum that I was delivering and adapted this where necessary.
