Currently working as a 2nd Engineering for BPOS since January 2012 on a Multirole Vessel.I hold an Unlimited Class II CoC Other Qualifications and Certificates include:•HND Marine Engineering• Passed the written exams in Management level Engineering Knowledge and General• Proficiency in Medical first aid onboard ship• Advanced Fire Fighting• Proficient in Survivial Craft and Rescue boats• Fast Rescue Craft Boatman - OPITO• Elementary First Aid• HELM Management Certification Responsibilities included but not limited to overall maintenance of main and auxiliary machinery. Which include Main and Auxilliary Engines, Purifiers, Pumps, Heating Systems, Steering System and maintaining the engine room standards. I have the overall responsibility of conducting and updating health and safety and risk assessments for the engine room and making sure that the planned maintenance system is kept accurate and up to date and making sure the other engineers are aware of what is outstanding and requires attention.
