Wattisham Airfield, Suffolk

Providing Integrated engineering support to RAF Search and Rescue Sea King mk3A. As a Cross trade technician I have to work as part of a small team to deliver both corrective and preventative maintenance to operational aircraft. The aircraft may be called upon 24/7 and must be prepared for flight as quickly as is safely possible, more often than not this involves working unsociable hours in inclement weather.

London Stansted Airport

A short term contract giving assistance to the engineering team at Inflite. Involved in the deep strip of British Aerospace 146 and Embraer ERJ aircraft to facilitate "C" checks. Carried out several sheet metal and structural repairs as directed by the shift supervisors including replacement of worn seat rails.

Yeovilton

Worked as part of a team to carry out zonal maintenance on the RAF Sea King MK3 and 3A Search and Rescue aircraft as dictated by the Aircraft Maintenance Manual, my primary role was the removal, dismantling, re-assembly and refitting of major aircraft sub assemblies and systems within the mechanical trade. I was also required to implement post assembly test procedures and assist with ground running and flight tests as required.

Rnas Yeovilton

After graduating from HMS Sultan, the Royal Navy school of Engineering, I was posted to 848 squadron and quickly gained the authorization to Maintain the Sea King Mk4 helicopter. I went on to 845 squadron and completed several overseas deployments in a variety of environments. I often worked under pressure, to strict deadlines in less than favorable conditions.
