  HydroFuture LLC began it’s testing on Hydrogen Enhanced Combustion (HEC) with it’s proprietary Hydrogen On-Demand (HOD) system, playfully called “HydroZilla” , in early 2008 with a core team which would continue forward designing and building eight (8) versions of the HydroZilla, reaching production line caliber in 2010 with the issuance of the Executive Order from the California Air Resource Board.In the beginning it was the mission statement of HydroFuture to design a sophisticated hydrogen delivery system which could liberate hydrogen and oxygen from water in ‘Real Time’, at a rapid pace using only 12 volt systems, while being durable. It was our edict to acquire the best and most forward thinking manufactured hydrogen booster, or reactor, to place at the heart of our system – much like a CPU to a mother board. This was a Risk Management decision. During this testing phase the company would acquire reactors from various manufacturers around the world. However, it was clearly demonstrated that no manufacturer at that time could provide a durable, fast gas liberating reaction which stood up to the harsh environment of Over The Road (OTR) vehicles. HydroFuture became frustrated with the lack of production line quality reactors, so the company solved the problems and created the first ever reactor of it’s type which could be built using no glues or polymers to seal it, and would contain the electric reaction with top efficiency, contain energy loss through heat, include a method that would allow fast liberation without degradation – the company called it the High Speed Efficient Hydrogen Reactor or HSEHR, and it’s operational observations were akin to watching a Swiss watch in action.
