During his engineering studies, Christopher was based in the Deep Basin area where he worked in the Completions department. His work consisted of programming and designing fracs the completion of oil and gas wells.

During his engineering studies, Christopher worked as a maintenance and production business manager/supervisor for the Impala and Monte Carlo. He was responsible for, among other matters, overseeing a 40-person department, production throughput, maintaining production equipment and managing union issues.
