CurrentAerospace Wheel and Brake Project Engineer• Project lead for the A330neo 251t Wheel and Brake Development Program ($33M project planned over 3 years)- Delegated Airbus signature for the program and DRB representative for Project Engineering.- Lead weekly team meetings to improve communication and drive effective collaboration between functions.- Effectively communicated project status through weekly 4-up and monthly MS&C reviews.- Reviewed project schedule, run rates and milestone status weekly to diagnose concerns and make adjustments.- Prioritized work packages and drove execution across multiple engineering and manufacturing organizations.- Made strategic design decisions factoring in cost, schedule, performance and customer requirements.• Project lead for an SRD project that addressed A330 brake rivet failures in the field.- Designed multiple rivet concepts to improve rivet life and resist orbital hammering during operation.- Down-selected design and lead program to introduce the rivets to the field with a new brake dash number.- Project resulted in a recurring BOM cost savings of $40k per year.• Obtained the six sigma greenbelt certification and graduated from the 2017 Aerospace PE/PM Academy.• Trained and managed the Honeywell South Bend contingent workforce for the carbon grind cell.
