I started in this industry at 21 years old. My journey began with bar backing at a small bar in Fredericksburg, Va. Aspiring to be a bartender, I went to The Professional Bartending School in Arlington, VA and graduated top in my class in speed testing. After my completion of Bartending School, I soon learned that school simply wasn’t enough. It takes hands on experience and time behind the bar to eventually become a skilled bartender. So for a time I went on picking up shifts from place to place, paying my dues until I came to Gentleman Jims in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Soon after I was hired, through hard work and initiative, I was promoted to Bar Manager. 15 years later from bar backing I became the General Manager of a successful nightclub. 10 years later I’ve evolved into a leader, mentor and top producer with National recognition of my accomplishments in the spirits and wine industry. I’m happily married 16 years working everyday on forever. My wife and I have 2 amazing children and a great dog. We bought a home in Frederick Maryland in 2018 because of the excellent school system and the family atmosphere of the neighborhood we live in. Despite moving further away from Washington DC, I never mind the commute. It gives me time to think, plan and reflect on all my blessings and how I will succeed every day. I love golf but have come to the realization I will never purse it as a career and have a passion for professional football. My family is my world and the world is my oyster
