Selected Projects• Mall Revitalization, Onondaga County, NY: A regional shopping center requested a parking lot and stormwater design as part of overall mall repurposing in the Onondaga Lake TMDL Watershed. Tasks included preparation of contract drawings, authoring of SWPPP document, and presentation before the municipal board.• Dormitory Water Connection, Madison County, NY: A year-round college dormitory required a new connection from a public main for potable water and fire connections. Tasks included preparation of backflow prevention plans, preparation of an engineer’s report, and coordination with water authority. • Commercial Development, Onondaga County, NY: A commercial development required the removal of a berm within the 100-year floodplain of a stream. Tasks included a no-rise analysis utilizing HEC-RAS, integrating survey data with an existing model, and coordination with state agencies.• Ambulatory Surgery Center, Oneida County, NY: A rural outpatient surgery center required on-site wastewater disposal as part of project scope. Tasks included preparation of sanitary disposal plans, preparation of an engineer’s report seeking SPDES coverage, and local inspection coordination.• Residential Subdivision, Onondaga County, NY: An abandoned commercial lot was repurposed into a residential subdivision. Tasks included applying Runoff Reduction practices to individual lots as part of SWPPP, redirection of offsite flows, and coordination with other contractors.• Dam Safety Inspection, Otsego County, NY: A privately owned USACE regulated dam required a decennial inspection as part of its transition to a NYSDEC regulated dam. Tasks included visual inspection, dambreak analysis utilizing HydroCAD, recommendation of improvements, and preparation of report and permits for NYSDEC Dam Safety approval.
