I am a Content Analyst with Hanover Research. I conduct quantitative data analysis for school districts across the country with a focus on program analysis, equity, and student progress. My work with Hanover Research relies heavily on data processing in STATA and data visualization in Tableau. My role also includes project management, effective client communication, and supervising other researchers. I received my Master's degree at UC San Diego where I was in the Public Policy program at the School of Global Policy and Strategy. My focus in school was on program analysis, environmental policy, and geospatial analysis. My capstone project studied the effects of PM2.5 on student achievement and utilized geospatial maps of air pollution distribution and school boundaries to estimate effects on student standardized test scores across California.Before returning to school for my Master's degree, I was an experienced analyst for the military where I spent several years supporting operations around the world for several outside agencies. My work for the military relied heavily on my ability to research, write, make recommendations, and coordinate with our partners stationed around the globe. As a non-commissioned officer, I supervised other analysts and conducted training.
