I've been in business for myself for 20 years now, yet often times it still feels like I'm a rookie; learning new moves and tricks as technology, industries and trends mature and change or even fade away entirely. I love the sense of accomplishment that creating a new, successful business brings as I understand the level of energy and sacrifice it takes to bring that goal to fruition. There is a freedom, also, that comes from venturing out on my own path, taking calculated risks that I believe will play well into the long game; not only for myself, but for my family, friends and associates along the way.
