A Colorado native, my passion for design was greatly influenced by the built environment and by the magestic landscapes of the American Southwest since childhood. I was inspired by the artistic spirit of my grandfather who has designed extensively in his life and he continues to design to this day. Also, I was captivated by the design of luxury resorts and have since found my niche in hospitality design. In my studies, I developed a particular interest in sensorial design by exploring the effects of building materials, light and space on human behavior. I am particularly skilled in hand drafting, physical modeling, and software such as Revit, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, and Photoshop.I participated in a month-long study abroad opportunity in Rome, Italy where I engaged with the locals, explored various architectural masterpieces throughout Italy, and sharpened my attention to detail.I was recognized for my studious performance by earning the AIA Henry Adams School Medal, as well as an award for best advanced studio project at the 2012 AIAS Design Excellence Awards. I graduated with highest honors from my undergraduate and graduate studies in Architecture.In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, photography, drawing, and playing the drums.
