Strategic Scheduling support for the COLUMBIA SSBN program and AUKUS submarine program

• Led divisions of 15 auxiliary and 15 nuclear mechanics responsible for maintaining and operating various vital systems including refrigeration, life support systems, water purification, ship’s ballast, main engine, steam plant, and others• Had a direct impact on the training and qualification of over 100 sailors in preparation for the successful operation of a $2 billion, 7,000-ton submarine on two European command deployments vital to national security• Directly supervised and reviewed over 200 quality assurance maintenance packages/evolutions ensuring first time quality work on critical ships systems• Served as acting Engineer on multiple occasions to be solely responsible for the $800 million reactor plant and 60 nuclear trained personnel• Led a watch team of 27 personnel as the direct representative of the Commanding officer• Entrusted to operationally plan and tactically position the warship to safely accomplish all mission tasking• Utilized knowledge of integrated plant operations including interconnected seawater, hydraulic, pneumatic, lube oil, electrical distribution, steam plant, and reactor plant work authorization procedures to control maintenance during multiple shutdown/maintenance availabilities and operations ensuring a secure environment for equipment and personnel• Successfully planned maintenance schedules and coordinated with outside facilities and personnel during availabilities to efficiently repair the ship and ensure all future operational schedule dates were met

• Completed master degree equivalent program in nuclear power plant theory, design, and operation

Conducted training of over 200 Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps midshipmen who are preparing to enter naval service.
