Representation and diversity are at the heart of my mission to shape the future of the accounting industry. Growing up, I was inspired by leaders like Colin Powell, whose example taught me the profound importance of representation. Today, I am committed to serving as a leader in my field, advancing diversity, and inspiring the next generation of professionals.As a senior accounting student at the Bryan School of Business and Economics at UNC Greensboro, I have embraced opportunities to lead and create change. I currently serve as Vice President of Finance for the Management Consulting Club, and I worked with NABA Inc. to establish a student chapter at UNC Greensboro, where I proudly served as founding president. These roles have allowed me to connect my peers with the resources and opportunities that have shaped my own journey.Before my time at UNC Greensboro, I earned an Associate of Applied Science in Accounting and Finance from Wake Technical Community College. While there, I served as Accounting Club President and helped establish one of North Carolina’s first NABA student chapters at a community college.Looking ahead, I am thrilled to be joining Wake Forest University’s School of Business in Fall 2025 to pursue a Master of Accountancy, specializing in the Financial Markets and Transaction track. This program will equip me with expertise in capital markets, valuations, and financial systems as I prepare for a career as a CPA and consultant in Chicago.Driven by a passion for solving complex problems and fostering inclusivity, I am excited to contribute to the accounting profession with integrity, leadership, and a focus on meaningful change.
