My initial summer job in Austin, Texas was to save money for the fall and spring semesters while I attended St. Edward's University in Austin, TX. I started work in May of 2011 at Continental Collision Center (CCC), a certified Mercedes-Benz, Subaru, Honda, and Infiniti body repair shop as a means of supporting myself while I attended University. Originally, my shop duties comprised of taking out trash and sweeping the shop, however I began assisting the body-men, painters, and mechanic with their daily duties. A year in, and I was performing suspension alignments and assisting in just about every aspect of the daily shop duties. After graduating from St. Edward's with my B.S. in Biology in May of 2013, I began looking for a means of staying in the city I grew to call home. A position opened up at the Mercedes-Benz of Austin, the parent company to CCC, and I jumped at the opportunity. My new job position at Mercedes-Benz of Austin, May 2013, was as a porter and customer vehicle associate. 5 months later, September 2013, I found myself in a new position as a sales assistant to 3 amazing sales people who showed me a new aspect to the automobile industry, sales! I began devouring all knowledge related to the Mercedes-Benz brand. It helped that I had previous experience with a considerable number of other makes and models, which meant I could effectively compare and contrast Mercedes-Benz with other brands. 2 months later, in November of 2013, the General Manager at Mercedes-Benz of Austin asked if I was ready to become a sales consultant. Since then, I have developed numerous client relationships, learned financial aspects to the automotive industry, and solidified my respect for the Mercedes Benz brand. To sum up my story, I am a hard working individual who is not content with only learning the basics of my profession. I put in the time, effort, and passion to be the best I can be and strive to offer the finest experience possible at Mercedes-Benz of Austin.
