Managing 10-15 of Aurora’s newest generation of aerospace structural engineers.Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Mechanical & Structural Engineering. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees.

- Leadership:Work with collectively with the integrated product team to support layout and detail design.Coordinate with multiple discipline areas including, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality.Prepare documentation for design reviews, lesson learned seminars and program management reviews.- Design:Designs composite airframe structures utilizing CAD software.Generates 2D manufacturing drawings of airframe structures on an as needed basisGenerates surface designs and lofted surfaces for aircraft exterior surfaces- Analysis:Conducts stress analysis of airframe structures using hand calculations (for preliminary sizing of structures).- Manufacturing:Provides design liaison engineering support to the manufacturing organization during airframe structures fabrication activities. Participates in material review board (MRB) and provide design support for design changes, dispositions.- Testing & Validation:Provides design engineering support for airframe structural tests. Role would include but not be limited to design of test support equipment, test instrumentation layouts and development of test plans.Design and manufacturing reviews.Provides technical input for reviews as well as detail models for planning.- AS9100 Quality auditorConducts internal audits and investigations to determine if the company is conducting business as noted in the procedures.Participates in Source Inspection for supplier deliveries and acceptance.Security Clearance: Active SECRET (DOD)

Junior Level Structures Engineer:CATIA Design in 3D and 2D drawings.Design checker for 3D model based definition.Used GD&T to communicate the design scheme and tolerance.Hands on experience with composite layup in both production and prototype.Prepared documentation for review.
