Antidumping/countervailing shipments, high value shipments, and similar. Reviewed and suggested new standard operating procedures for team and office to use to ensure proper compliance, risk management and reduction.

Duties and responsibilities included handling and processing FDA regulated shipments (Food, drugs, devices, biologics, reagents, diagnostics), assigning FDA product codes, AOCs (PMN/PMA, LST, 510(k),REG. Food shipments along with prior notice/PN filing. Higher complexity and stricter regulated items including ITAR shipments and tobacco.

Completed entry using ACE portal software for air freight import shipments. Assessed admissibility and governmental import regulations. Determined subjectivity to PGA review, including FDA, DOT/NHTSA, EPA, FCC, ITAR, and DOD. Classified commodities using the US Harmonized Tariff Schedule/HTS.

Paid research chemist in agronomy department lab. Assist grad students with their experiments. Also prep samples/solutions and perform general laboratory tasks. Additionally, TA for soil ecology/agronomy couse laboratory, managed by grad student in the research lab.

Help students taking general and organic chemistry understand the class material. Help with general questions, homework problems, and maintain old exam and class notes.
