Fellowship awarded to students who are committed to service and social justice in the greater Boston and Cambridge year-round

Assist in providing resources to hundreds of constituents who are homeless or at risk of being homeless by referring them to one of over 20 community partners who can best assist them in their needs. Conduct policy and legislative research to combat homelessness and determine effectiveness of current and proposed policy.

Assisting homeless youth aged 18-24 in the Greater Boston and Cambridge area by offering facilities to sleep, shower, wash laundry, access to case management resources, and receive medical attention. Also leading donation collections and fundraising efforts for shelter necessities, totaling over $15,000.

Organize events where members of the DSA can network with Dominican undergraduates, graduatestudents, professionals, and members of the Dominican community in the greater-Boston area.

Lead the creation of materials to educate, students, staff, and faculty about the FGLI experience ingeneral and at Harvard. Heading peer-led dialogues and workshops while creating curriculum to share with Harvard leadership in efforts to create a safe space for first-generation and low-income students.
