My litigation practice centers on resolving complicated disputes for corporate and individual clients. I have substantial experience as first chair counsel in federal court, state court, and arbitration proceedings on behalf of energy clients such as Apache, BP, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Devon, Marathon Oil, Mewbourne Oil, and Ovintiv. I have served as lead counsel in federal court, state court, and arbitration proceedings through their trial or final hearing. I am proud to have prevailed in a Section 1983 pro bono case, in which I secured punitive damages for my client against long odds. After graduating from the Columbia Law School, I clerked for the Honorable Jerry E. Smith of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
