Clinical Research Coordinator
Current- Responsible for supporting and improving healthcare for our nation's veterans and the general public by facilitating the research and education programs of the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care system. - Complete and submit associated forms and documentation to overseeing bodies such as the Institutional Review Board and the Food and Drug Administration for approval of clinical studies. - Understand core principles that protect subjects in clinical research such as respect for persons, beneficence, and justice.- Obtain informed consent from potential subjects admitted to the VA while upholding all patient’s rights as potential subjects. - Acknowledge and report adverse or serious adverse events to the study's principal investigator. - Work with the research team to accurately document subject data for the appropriate study.
