As a BI Developer and Data Consultant, I support the creation and maintenance of Power BI Dashboards for a variety of clients from health care to finance and more.I build the data models for the reports including any Power Query/DAX measures required and apply them to visualizations to best display what the Client wishes to see.I also work within Azure setting up Data pipelines, and creating Data Warehouses to facilitate any data requirements the Client has. This includes importing data from a variety of sources (Dynamics, SQL, APIs etc.) and transforming them to create a valuable and efficient schema for the data model.With the Clients I work to produce a work plan that will list all projects with their priorities and expected completion times, This allows the Client to have an accurate plan that they can follow, and my team can use it to organise our workdays. I also track any blockers and requirements that develop through the project.As a consultant, I have also taken part in tender proposals to clients to provide technical advice during the proposal meetings, I also take part in the official setup of projects to facilitate what my team would need to get the project up and running as quickly as possible.

As a Data Quality Analyst, I support the IT operations within the Authentication division in ensuring the data in our systems meets the high standard needed to ensure our service runs correctly.I provide support to our database analysts and technical teams to provide information on data in the system that has an issue such as incomplete fields in the database or a break in the chain of data. I then compile the list of issues and where they are to provide them with a list of data to fix. I use SQL mainly to build queries that pull out the data in question then Excel and Tableau/Power BI to help display the extent of the issue.I also support the infrastructure team by running an Environment dashboard where I pull in feeds of data from several sources and present a live dashboard of all the contracts and their respective environments. This is used by the infrastructure team to plan deployments and by operations management to see the current state of the environments alongside version data for all software installed on the servers. To complete I use SQL and power Automate to pull data from emails that come in without manual interaction.

My responsibilities as Technical support included receiving calls from customers and noting down the issues. Then my job was to bring the customer to the correct solution for them. This was done using a variety of tools alongside my own knowledge to guide the customer through the correct steps and bring them to a solution. I was also required to have in depth knowledge of the software and hardware supplied to customers so that I would be able to properly answer any question that the customer may have.The Role required a great ability to question the customer and ascertain the correct information as many customers are not techno literate, so as a technical support I would need to ascertain exactly what their issue was.We were entrusted with keeping an eye on our own KPIs to ensure that we kept our call times and other codes within targets and to ensure the customer surveys we got were positive.
