Software supported included Microsoft Office, Outlook and other in house applications. Hardware included Laptops, Desktops and all peripherals. We also had 'Team viewer' software which allowed us to provide remote support to our field engineers and other staff away from the office.Further responsibilities included the creation and Hardware/software setup of new users. This involved creating users within Microsoft Exchange and assigning the users to the correct policy groups within AD. This also involved the setup on Laptops/ Desktops therefore the installation of Windows 7 and Windows XP. I also had the responsibility of the administration of mailboxes and distribution groups managed through Microsoft Exchange and AD.Within the business we issued Blackberries and Mobile Dongles, I was responsible for the setup of the Blackberries though the Blackberry Enterprise Server and the technical support for the blackberries. I also had access to the Mobile/Dongle account which allowed me to change allocation of Blackberries/dongles and add/remove packages.I.T Purchasing involved me purchasing all Hardware and Toner/ink for the company this involved being organised and keeping track of what the business required so that it could be ordered and delivered in a timely manner therefore not to cause any inconvenience or major problems for any member of staff therefore maintaining a high level of customer service. Within this role I had the responsibilities unloading stock off the delivery lorries and then unpacking the cages and packing away the stock in the correct location. All stock had to be put in a certain location so that the staff picking the stock could find it in a timely manner.
