I am currently employed with Digital Morphosis to be both a local IT support engineer maintaining their Desktops, Laptops, Servers and all aspects of their network and security whilst I develop my DevOps skillset.Some of my responsibilities include:(Local I.T)-- Implementation of a number of ClearOS firewalls to segregate the networks.-- Removal and re-structuring of the network cabinets and the equipment.-- Implementation of Local and Remote backups-- Removal and Re-implementation of Wireless Access Points-- Implementation and maintenance of a new Public network for visitors-- Installation of BitDefender Anti-Virus across all machines (3 companies)-- Restructuring of Google Apps and increasing security company wide (3 Companies)-- Setup and Installation of Encrypted NAS box.-- Moving all users to Wired connections for security and moving wireless to the public network-- Implementation of Static addressing and VLAN's throughout all sections of the network (3 companies)-- Network Wide Firmware upgrades(Remote)-- Developing my skillset in: Vagrant Docker Ansible Amazon Webservices Other Cloud solutions

Initially employed at Rock I.T to distribute tickets to engineers, Ensure SLA’s were met and increase efficiency this role quickly evolved to include managerial tasks. Some responsibilities include:-- Assign all new tickets to engineers within 15 minutes.-- Read, Understand and Assign priorities to all new and escalated tickets.-- Technical/Procedural point of contact for 1st/2nd/3rd and field engineers-- Provide verbal and written feedback to assist engineers-- Create and enforce strict process and procedures-- Manage and resolve interdepartmental queries and conflicts-- Single point of contact for Service Team queries and staffing requests-- Oversee complaint resolution between engineer and client.-- Provide support and advice on Linux systems to staff-- Structured and deployed software to manage all company information

Initially employed at Epitiro to work as NOC engineer to monitor and maintain 1000+ Windows / Linux based machines and ensure they were reporting back to the central database, The position allowed promotion to Team LeaderSome responsibilities Included:-- Assisted in site deployments and hardware rollout-- Developed educational material and trained all new starters-- Monitored, maintained and repaired 1000+ Windows/Linux machines-- Monitored, maintained and repaired Linux Speedtest endpoints/ POP3 Pollers-- Configured VPN’s to connect back office for deployed hardware.-- Creation of live interactive graphics displaying various KPI’s-- Chaired meetings and provided statistical feedback to management.-- Testing and Monitoring new technologies for ISP’s / Mobile providers-- Provided feedback to staff on performance and areas of potential improvement

During employment at Virgin Media progression was quick from Technical Support to Senior Support to Management of the Remote Support department.
