As a Software Engineer I am developing and supporting Salesforce customizations and integrations. I work with Apex classes and triggers, Visualforce pages and custom components, and third-party tools that integrate with the Salesforce API.Some specific projects I've worked on include:- A document management system that supports custom metadata based on document type. It used Visualforce pages and Visualforce components to create an uploader that could work for any object in Salesforce in conjunction with Chatter to allow for 2GB uploads.- Using Informatica Secure Cloud to import on-premise data and files into Salesforce. It used a custom VisualBasic.net application as a pre-processing command to prepare the data and files and then the standard Salesforce connector to import the data in to different custom objects as well as the File IO connector to upload files as Attachments to a custom object.

Lead developer on curriculum review and approval application powered by Apache, PHP, and MySQL. This application allows faculty and deans to submit new courses and programs for peer review within the college and follow the course or program through the approval process. Once approved, the course or program is proofread and published to the college's online and print catalog.Developed a form to capture information from prospects interested in the college. This form stored the data in a local MySQL database and then a separate script generated a CSV file and uploaded it daily to an external CRM system.Developed a news and events system to allow different authors to post a news article or upcoming event to the college's website. Different authors had different permissions to different channels and either news articles or upcoming events could be posted and published to the channel. An RSS and iCal feed was available for each channel.Used our homegrown CMS to update content for different departments in the college. Some times a custom script was needed to query data from our local MySQL database for display when a simple page wasn't enough.

Answered questions and helped clients experiencing computer problems.Managed Windows NT 4.0 Domain user accounts using Windows NT 4.0 Server Tools.Managed eDirectory user accounts using ConsoleONE and iManager.Created a script using Windows Batch files and VBScript to automate student laptop setup - decreased the setup time from 15 minutes to 5 minutes a laptop.Began consolidating Norton Ghost images by using Sysprep tools - consolidated multiple images down to two.

Maintained a network of 5 users (4 Windows + 1 Mac) with responsibilities including: e-mail accounts, network accounts, network storage, network printing, and data backup.Developed application for viewing photographs using Macromedia Director Lingo. Began transition from Macromedia Director Lingo codebase to C# codebase.Developed website for viewing and purchasing phorographs using VBScript and ASP using XML as the backend datastore.
