www.HireAStar.net/toursSince 2001 Christopher Linnell has driven sedan, stretch, van, limobus, minibus, motorized cable car, and DUKW “duck” tours in San Francisco, Marin’s Muir Woods, and The Wine Country, including the Napa and Sonoma valleys, in the Russian River region, and in the Dry Creek and Alexander Valleys in Healdsburg. In fact, since 2007 Cable Car Christopher has driven and narrated well over 2400 San Francisco city tours (three daily two hour tours) on motorized vintage cable cars and, on a completely different route, DUKW amphibious "duck:" tours (three to five daily ninety minute tours), plus, on another entirely different route, an additional one hundred or more ninety minute holiday light tours in December of 2007, 2008, and 2009. These tours were scripted and improvised entirely by Christopher himself. He has also done hundreds of wine tours in all the wine valleys since 2001, including over 300 minibus tours in Napa in 2005, 2006, and 2007, and over 200 trolley tours in Sonoma in 2011, 2012, and 2013 and dozens of holiday light tours in Napa also in 2011 and 2012. I've been doing freelance contract commercial production on all the Sonoma County radio stations since 1978, including KZST, KPLS, KMGG, KVRE, and KXFX. In 1996 I also worked as an air personality at KMGG, and simultaneously as an air personality, commercial writer & producer, fill-in news anchor, and default public service director for KRPQ. The last regular radio work I did was serve as co-host of a weekly talk show on KRCB radio from 2002-2003.In the 1980s and 90s I also worked as freelance talent on cable television for PostNewsweek, Storer, Viacom, & TCI, and on broadcast television for KRCB TV22, and from 1981-1993 as an air personality for television station KFTY TV50, doing numerous live remote broadcasts and commercials. In 1987 I was also a regular cast performer, doing improv and sketch comedy, on KFTY TV50's late-night comedy and music showcase program called On The Air, which was taped at and simulcast from a radio station / restaurant / nightclub combination in downtown Santa Rosa known as the Studio KAFE. Along the same lines, in the 1990s, my celebrity impersonations had become familiar faces on the San Francisco late-night television music and comedy showcase broadcast on KOFY TV20 entitled Late Sunday Night with James Gabbert.
