Provided hardware and software support for all 14 supported SerDes core families across the Networking and Data Storage business units. • Worked as part of a four person team (spread over two US locations) which provided hardware and software support for 83 versions of 14 different SerDes cores built into numerous global customer ASIC circuit designs.• Created and maintained a Python-based interactive interface for our SerDes signal integrity analysis tool called EyeScope. This interface uses matplotlib plotting features to mimic bench scope tool interfaces and provides analysis control far beyond any competitor’s tools. Many of our customers incorporate this tool into their software designs so that their customers may use it.• Integrated and maintained the SerDes EyeScope tool within the Storage group’s hardware control software through their Tortoise SVN repository. This provides SerDes signal analysis features for over 11 major Data Storage projects.• Created and maintained a Python-based parameter sweep characterization tool which simplifies characterizing results of varying setting ranges. Result analysis is available through interactive 2D and 3D plots and histograms (for repeatability studies).
