In line with our mission,I serve as a Transition Researcher and Advising Specialist (TRAS) who supports current and former CEP students in attaining their educational goals. Specifically, I help research academic pathways for CEP students upon their release and help develop personalized academic plans for current and former CEP students based on their educational needs and goals. This involves helping CEP students to decide on a course of study, choose appropriate colleges, community colleges, and other schools, complete their college applications, locate their transcripts and seek financial aid. I support CEP students upon release by identifying and connecting CEP alums with reentry resources available in local communities and relevant institutions.
