I attain happiness from being part of a ship and a crew, helping make sure the ship keeps afloat and the crew keeps moving forward. I wish to apply my professional communication and customer service skills at a company that encourages camaraderie and growth. My goal in life is to never stop helping people. My career began at UNT’s Student Legal Services, where I was a Graphic Designer and Student Assistant to the student attorney. This entailed setting up walk-in sessions with the attorney, and contacting clients as well as businesses and law firms on behalf of the attorney. I gained adept skills in professional communication. My next stop was the UNT College of Visual Arts & Design, where I served under the Dean of the college. This position honed my customer service skills and hard work ethic as there were many time-consuming tasks, and I moved on after three years upon my graduation in 2017.I arrived at Invitation Homes that fall and joined the marketing department, editing the company’s public property listings and ensuring that quality pictures represented our properties. In time I rose as an unofficial leader of my team, assigning properties to my coworkers and determining what to prioritize. I later moved to the Lease Administration department, performing lease generation, screening and verification of income. Once again becoming an unofficial leader, I consistently met service level agreements and kept a cool head under pressure as I delivered Genuine Care to our applicants and field agents. During my second year in the department I went from unofficial leader to official leader and was promoted to Senior Coordinator, helping the supervisors maintain the team, assisting associates where needed, and providing my years of experience and knowledge to all while handling escalations and fraudulent applications for homes.Wherever I go, I want to help people. And I will do whatever I can to make sure that wherever I may go, nobody is going to get left behind.
