Since December 2022, I worked on various projects and efforts for a regional credit union in Colorado as a Senior Business Analyst. In that role, I: drove a member experience improvement effort to highly successful completion, significantly exceeding expected success metrics; utilized data-driven decision making to ensure that projects delivered intended value; advised on cross functional projects regarding system capabilities, features, business needs and design; provided critical assessments of project results to business leaders and key stakeholders based on success metrics, ROI and KPIs.The prior six years were spent working as a process analyst and business intelligence developer in the financial services department of a telecommunications company. I have led automation projects through conception, design, testing and deployment, resulting in multi-million dollar cost savings since implementation in addition to numerous other efficiency improvements. SQL and SSRS skills have allowed reporting development which has produced further benefits for collections processes and general operational improvements. 10+ years of experience operating a small business has given me excellent hands-on mileage in marketing, customer relationship management, project management, sales, logistics and financial management as well as the confidence to handle just about any situation that may arise. I have led numerous small, informal project teams in the execution of sponsorship campaigns and events as well as in the production of goods and services. I successfully developed a well-recognized reputation for high standards and strong ethics in a fast paced and non-traditional industry which contributed greatly to strong customer loyalty and consistent growth and profitability. My role as a trainer and instructor has given me tremendous opportunity to develop strong communication skills when working with students, clients, sponsors and other professionals. This range of interactions has been invaluable throughout my career.In order to improve my knowledge of project management and process improvement, I have completed Colorado State University's Project Management Certificate Program, obtained a CAPM certification through the Project Management Institute, and obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification through the Acuity Institute. I hope to find a role that offers a high level of challenge, a chance for me to put a number of these skills to use, and an opportunity to make a positive impact.
