Worked on developing an abstraction layer for consuming various cardholder, card, and access level messages from the core solution and updating subscribed client owned access control providers on various APIs like Lenel S2 and Lenel OnGuard. This solution is meant to provide near-real time updates from the cloud to downstream access control systems when the core solution data is updated, like changing access levels or new cards being provisioned.

Continuing working on ETL solutions and custom reports for Blackboard on-premise clients. Also primary resource for developing custom reports in JasperSoft Studio for our cloud services clients.

Currently working on migrating the Java ETL implementation to .NET 4.0 and integration into Transact's SP platform. Responsible for maintaining the codebase for Blackboard's BbPay offering. Responsible for providing Transact clients with custom solutions as needed to assist in their integration across multiple university systems.Designed and developed a free-form XML/Java based ETL framework with support for database/file adapters, data transformations, data filtering, data archival, process restarts, and custom data processing. Added capability to do data aggregation, data correlation, change filtering, and email output. Also added support for data set sorting, TIA transactions, data set encryption/decryption, SFTP file transfer on input or output, binary data types, and state machine processing. About 85% of Blackboard's custom solutions exist on this framework. Designed and developed a Java based middleware solution for communicating with the Transact product database. Solution used in customizations requiring access to Transact as well as handling transactions (debit, deposits, etc.). Added web service support over SOAP protocol for performing customer management, event management, board plan management, and transaction management for the Blackboard 3.x system. Inherited a data warehousing solution for Blackboard Transact product. Migrated the schema from SQL Server 2008 to Oracle 11g R2. Streamlined ETL process using an XML based ETL framework. Extended the schema to support detailed lineitem transaction imports and simplified faster reporting.

Designed and developed an SSO solution to seamlessly interface between clients' transaction portal and a third-party PCI deposit system. Designed and developed a reusable image/BLOB tool for clients to manage card photos. Architected and implemented an encryption tool to obfuscate database passwords and other sensitive data in accordance to PCI regulations.Responsible for all Java based client customizations around Blackboard's Transact product. Architected a core consulting framework for auxiliary tools to package with the core Transact product.

Designed a self registration system that has been in production for more than a year for three different applications (internal and external). Designed and implemented a prototype application allowing claims employees to access data dictionary metadata using Backbase/AJAX, Hibernate, and Spring. A key architect on the design of a next generation correspondence solution utilizing Adobe Livecycle, PEGA/CPMi, IBM WESB, and IBM Content Manager. A key member of a team responsible for redesigning the FNOL workflow and UI in PEGA for the global claims initiative project.Responsible for driving enterprise and applications architecture decisions for various claims applications. Division expert for Backbase and AJAX solutions as well as Adobe Livecycle. Assisted in developing SOA roadmap for future infrastructure.

RFID and Sensor Edge Server team:Successfully released Supplier Compliance Workspace solution in two month timeframe. Released Sensor Edge Server and Supplier Compliance Workspace in Oracle 10g AS. Worked on UI and controller for portions of Oracle’s EPCIS solution. Filed patent for handling dynamic allocation of pallets and cases from read RFID tags.

Voice Application Development team:Successfully integrated portions of Indicast software I was responsible for into Oracle’s Voice Laboratory upon acquisition. Converted concatenated audio framework and system into J2EE solution. Filed two patents regarding concatenated audio and an internationalization solution for handling textual expansion for common input types. Designed and developed a voice conferencing system utilizing MVC architecture. Designed and implemented portions of Oracle’s Voice Directory application using LDAP and Struts.

Part of team that developed and designed voice application framework for feeding interactive and non-interactive content over telephony systems. Designed a fast, generic XML parser and associated tools in Perl. Designed an improved system for handling concatenated audio segments for better user experience. Key architect in designing an XML based state system for dynamic VoiceXML pages.

Designed and developed airline maintenance and reporting Java applet using Java AWT for Lufthansa Airlines. Designed and developed portions of a weather based software system using Java Swing components including designing reusable Grid component extended from Swing components. Designed and developed a name registration system using EJB, XML, and ColdFusion.

Part of successful automation implementation for 5-Stand Line. Member of team responsible for limiting process line downtime for Pickle Line and Cold Sheet Annealing.
