I am a Partner at Viberts – one of Jersey’s leading law firms – I head up the Trusts, Fiduciary and Commercial legal department with a client base including multinational corporations, local businesses and high net worth individuals.Legal 500 says I am a recommended and key lawyer in its 2022 edition.Having practiced for over 30 years, I have particular expertise in trusts and have written for a number of publications relating to this topic. In addition, I have presented extensively on fiduciary topics across Europe, including Cyprus, Geneva, Guernsey, Jersey, London, Paris and Zurich to senior legal professionals and proprietors of trust company businesses.Being a multilingual lawyer also allows me to provide advice to Jersey citizens who have assets located abroad and to help unlock foreign legal issues for them.Outside of Viberts, I am also a member of STEP – the worldwide professional association for practitioners dealing with trusts, family inheritance and succession planning – and use my experience of appearing in court to help my clients identify the issues of principal importance to the protection of their interests.I am also the Chairman of Save Jersey’s Heritage, a Board member for Alliance Française de Jersey, a director of the Victoria College Foundation and Hon Consul for France in Jersey.
