Nearly 15 years of experience and expertise in fundraising and development, alumni relations, career education, project management, and business development. I'm at my best when I get to utilize my innate positivity and enthusiasm for storytelling to build relationships and inspire teams to take action. In my current role at Michigan State University, I serve as the Associate Director of Development for the Burgess Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation at Michigan State University. In this position, I lead fundraising efforts to advance MSU's nationally-ranked campus-wide entrepreneurship education program. I'm well-versed with the entrepreneurial ventures, as the founder and Executive Director of a local non-profit focused on talent attraction and retention in the Lansing region. As a proud alumnus of Western Michigan University (BA, ‘07) and Michigan State University (MA, ‘10), I've maintained a strong desire for continuous learning and leadership development. In the past I've given service to several advisory boards. Locally, I'm a 2016 graduate of the Leadership Lansing program, and in 2016 I was named one of the “10 Over the Next Ten” young professionals by the Lansing Chamber.
