• Solely responsible for prototyping of MLI for T1MFOV spacecraft including designing and producing fabrication drawings.• Fabricated two of my prototype MLI designs by precise cutouts of 1-to-1 scale prints, spot welding of layers, and transfer tape application. Fixed design issues discovered during fabrication.• Developed and documented process for design and production of 3D printed part mockups enabling consistency and efficiency in fabrication of multiple of the same MLI blankets. I delivered a report of the design process, production, and cost, to my team.

• Oversaw 12-person team with a 6-month design timeline and $5000 budget for a student-designed hybrid rocket propulsion system.• Successfully designed and tested UCLA Rocket Project's first-ever student-researched and designed solid fuel grain, achieving 90% of target performance. • Conducted unit-level and system-level testing including hydrostatic, weld, ignition, cold flow, and static fire testing to qualify flight systems.• Diagnose and solve problems as they arise during manufacturing, testing, and integration.

• Wrote script to parse NASA CEA output file and calculate nozzle expansion ratio, areas, and propellant mass flowrate.• Performed cryogenic liquid nitrogen testing of plumbing components for liquid bi-propellant (Ethanol/LOX) rocket.• Responsible engineer for development of tool to reduce fabrication time for carbon fiber body tubes.

• Utilized ANSYS Fluent to simulate wing performance at various speeds and angles of attack.• Redesigned tail to fuselage connection components to significantly reduce weight.• Used SOLIDWORKS to model wingbox and wing ribs for wood laser cutting fabrication.• Performed carbon fiber wet layup for nosecone fabrication.• Created graphs and formatted equations for design report to place 6th in design report score and 16th overall score out of 97 international teams in April 2022 competition.
