I facilitated the research endeavors of two faculty members in the finance and marketing department by providing various writing and editing services and administrative assistance. I proofread, edited, and wrote two literature reviews for a professor who was researching prototype-based advising and its potential benefits to finance students. I rewrote and edited several portions of a manuscript on consumer preference of imported and domestic brands in the Islamic Republic of Iran to improve syntax and clarity. I constructed data tables in Excel to organize and format scatterplots from consumer information. I also provided clerical support, such as handling email correspondence, answering the phone and other daily tasks for the professor that I worked with. While I was in this role, I also worked on a team with six classmates to develop solutions for reducing the carbon footprint of the oil and gas industry to present at the university's Institute for Energy Studies Annual Energy Symposium.
