About Christopher Wallick
I was raised in Silicon Valley California by a mother and father who both worked for a global telecommunications company. After graduating from high school I joined the United States Marine Corps where I learned a great deal about what my wife refers to as “nothing useful at all” and was honorably discharged in 1989.After my time with the finest men and women in uniform I worked a variety of jobs and went to a variety of different schools throughout the early 90’s in search of my career. I went to WSU to become a paramedic and ended up entering the IT field. My first exposure to IT was in the early 90’s where I worked for a company that sold digital imaging and high speed printing equipment. I attended a networking class and my career was born. I have worked for a lot of different companies over the years (Lockheed Martin IT, Northrop Grumman IT, BAE and so on…) and even spent a year in Iraq working as a contractor to the Multi-National Forces in Iraq. After returning home to my family in February 2006 I accepted a position at Premera Blue Cross in Mountlake Terrace Washington where I provide guidance and overall strategy for Microsoft Infrastructure core technologies such as Active Directory (and accompanying well known services), Messaging, Unified Communications and Social Media. On a personal note I live for my family. My wife and I have been married for twenty-five years and we have two boys ages eleven and thirteen. My oldest daughter lives with her husband and my first grandson in Wisconsin where she works as a Firefighter/paramedic. The boys are very much into sports and play football. When we’re not going to a practice or a game we like to go fishing and camping.Specialties: I have very deep experience in enterprise architecture and systems integration with a focus on unified communications using Microsoft centric software and operating systems (AD, Exchange, OCS 2007 R2 & Lync Server 2010, O365, Skype for Business Online and Microsoft Teams.).
Listed skills include Cloud Computing, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Data Center, and 46 others.
