Christopher Brown is a real estate development industry veteran with nearly 30 years experience. After starting his career in Santa Barbara selling luxury homes and vacation condos on the beach, he moved back to his hometown of Sacramento in 1999 for a position in new home sales with Warmington Homes. He quickly moved into management, holding senior sales and marketing positions with Richmond American Homes, Christopherson Homes and New Faze Development, before starting NEXT New Homes Group in 2008. Since starting that first company focused on new home sales and marketing, he's grown the group to include a resale real estate company, NEXT Real Estate Group, Inc and most recently a home building company, NEXT Crafted, Inc. As a speaker, Christopher speaks locally and nationally on a variety of topics related to home building, sales, marketing, technology and business practices. He has been selected to speak at the International Builders Show and Pacific Coast Builders Show for the past several years.. Certifications & AwardsChristopher is designated by the National Association of Home Builders as both a Certified Sales Professional (CSP) and a Masters in Residential Marketing (MIRM), where he is a national instructor. He is a past Chair of both the Sales & Marketing Council and Membership Council of the North State Building Industry Association (NSBIA). Over his career he has been awarded the NSBIA’s “Sales Manager of the Year”, “President’s Award” and “Meritorious Award”. Most recently, he was awarded the NSBIA’s Associate of the Year for his continuing contributions to the Association and industry and the Innovator Award from HomeAid Sacramento. Nationally, he has been recognized as one of the 40 Under 40 by Professional Builder Magazine two years in a row. The Sacramento Business Journal recognized him as one the 40 Under 40 business leaders in the region last year.
