As a child, I loved trying to understand how things worked so I would take things apart and put them back together. I would build models and modify them to do things they wouldn't do all for the purpose of trying to improve it. This followed me into college and learned about Operations Research and Analysis. Here I was provided foundational principles of how to analyze and improve processes and operations utilizing methods I didn't knew existed. I utilized these principles and applied it to my chosen field of Supply Chain and Operations. As a naval officer I was able to use these skills to improve operations and logistics in every position I held. Along the way, I learned continuous improvement, lean six sigma, theory of constraints and kept building on what I love doing. Improving and strengthening business results. I trained my teams well and loved watching them get promoted and move on. I learned many things during my career, but the one thing I learned most is that organizations need to be aligned and work together in order to achieve great things. That is what I strive to teach, accomplish and achieve in every position. This has allowed me to be successful throughout my career.I have won awards through my career and are proud of those, but I know it was my team that was the reason for receiving them. Without them, I would not have achieved anything.Operations, Supply Chain, Distribution, Procurement, Leadership and Finance are all strengths of mine, and I am very passionate about them.If you are interested and need help with your organization, please contact me. I would love to talk!
