Supporting corporate UNIX bash scripts and C# code used for provisioning servers.• Maintained, updated and supported bash scripts to perform Deployment Readiness Check, that ensures that a server has all its required software and is configured correctly, and System Verification After Change, that compares system configuration before and after a change to ensure no unexpected changes occurred. The scripts were designed to run on any 30,000-40,000 running either of the two most recent versions of any UNIX or Linux operating system.• Code, test and debug Visual Studio C# code for Windows server provisioning for account support system administrators. Determined there was a need for QA testing, so created QA tests based on design specification and performed QA testing.

Performed automation using HP OO and supported the account's tools environment.• Created a report using HP OO and PowerShell to examine several hundred Windows servers to determine the versions of MS SQL Server installed on each server, whether supported by HP or the customer, including MS SQL Server Express.• Created a presentation on performing memory analysis on HP OO/Java and presented to the HP Automation Community of Excellence.• Create a new monitoring architecture for a customer based on HP Operations Manager and assist with the implementation. Created a report to match servers using old monitoring and new monitoring and identified about 100 servers that were accidentally excluded from the conversion project.• Created a process to determine whether thousands of UNIX and Windows servers were being backed up correctly. This required extracting and matching information from 10-15 different systems containing inconsistent information. The results were presented to the account manager and to the customer. This process was based on Java and Excel.• Converted an Excel-based account report on tools deployment saturation, that could only be run once a month due to the manual effort involved, and converted it to use Java, allowing it to be run weekly. Documented the process and trained another team member to create the weekly report.

Worked with the BellSouth architects to integrate the BellSouth architectural direction with the EDS architectural direction, representing midrange, tools, storage and security. Worked with the BellSouth security office in the development and implementation of security standards in the operational environment and developed a reporting system for the reporting of configuration status for several thousand UNIX servers.
