Operated the Ikonos remote sensing satellie. Responsible for day-day operation of the orbital position of the spacecraft. Designed and maintained tools for orbit determination. Conducted maneuvers on the spacecraft. Responsible on-call engineer for troubleshooting of orbital system problems. Provided collection estimates for imagery and monthly reports of imaging activity. Coded software tools in UNIX Shell Script, MS Access, Visual Basic, and SQL.

Designed, tested and installed satellite ground systems for commercial customers. Wrote requirements and design of the Equipment Status and Control (ESC) software that interfaced with all ground system hardware and software components. Installed and tested ESC software at an operational GS facility in Japan. Authored successful proposal ESC section for the NPOESS Ground System.

Designed the thermal system for the Lower Ionosphere Thermosphere Explorer Including Radiation and aerodynamic heating effects using the Direct Simulation Montecarlo Method (DSMC) NASA DAC code and Rad/CAD Sinda/FLUINT Code.
